Four foul-mouthed kids to take on MMO’s crown jewel.
Whenever South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker take aim at videogames, the results have been unquestionably hilarious.
The duo’s Pokemon episode ranks as one of the show’s greatest (and
let’s not forget the golden PSP), and here’s to hoping we experience
the same level of belly aching when the show tackles Blizzard’s World
of Warcraft in this week’s show, airing Wednesday at 10:00 p.m.
Eastern/Pacific.

Bungie to break their silence on the mega shooter.
Although X06 brought official word on the long-rumored Halo Wars,
Bungie remained silent on Halo 3. The weekly updates on the studio’s
websites assures fans work continues on the sci-fi sequel, but
Frankie’s bits and pieces aren’t enough for us, which is why Electronic
Gaming Monthly decided to hold a shotgun to everyone at Bungie until
they final spilled the beans.
EGM Issue #210, which hits newsstands on November 14th, features a
cover story exposing Halo 3, which is teased in the back of this
month’s issue, covered by Epic Games’ Gears of War.

Parents now have science to back them up when they say, ‘Turn off the TV. It’s a school night.’
Middle school students who watch TV or play video games during the week
do worse in school, a new study finds, but weekend viewing and gaming
doesn’t affect school performance much.
‘On weekdays, the more they watched, the worse they did,’ said study
co-author Dr. Iman Sharif of Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in the
Bronx. ‘They could watch a lot on weekends and it didn’t seem to
correlate with doing worse in school.’
