PS3 NFS Carbon Played for the First Time
Some PS3 titles shown to a few lucky gamers
EA hosted a closed door event on October 19, and they allowed a few
lucky gamers to play some of their PS3 upcoming titles. Nobody knows
what those gamers had to do in order to get their hands on the PS3
controllers but the fact of the matter is
that they did it before many of us.
Those present in the event had a chance to see several titles running
on PlayStation hardware. They were allowed to play for the first time
the NFL official game Madden. The teams showcased were Chicago and
Arizona.
The lucky few selected also had the chance to try out the single-player
mode of Fight Night. The most interesting moment of the entire event
was when the PS3 version of Need for Speed: Carbon was put on display.
Besides Carbon the new Def Jam Title, Def Jam: Icon was also shown.
For those specially interested, know that the PS3 version of Need for
Speed: Carbon won’t come out until November 14. The other titles
showcased, including Def Jam Icon and Fight Night aren’t scheduled for
PS3 release until 2007.
