Rebellious man, prisoner and Saint

He was a rebellious young man, his religious conversion began in 1201, after he was taken prisoner in a military campaign against Perugia. St Francis of Assisi, his real name was Giovanni Bernardone. His dad was a wealthy cloth merchant and he was born in Italy in 1181.
